Shouse graduates from Tennessee high school

Christian A. Shouse, son of Chris Shouse, former RHS graduate and Cumberland College graduate and Krista Shouse of Jacksboro, Tennessee, recently graduated from Campbell County High School with an Associate Degree in science and an ACT of 25 with a grade point average of 4.4. He is the grandson of Bob and Ann Lacy. He will be attending Carson Newman University in Jefferson City, Tenn., in the fall. He will be competing in track and field and majoring in Biology. He hopes to pursue a career, much like his dad, in teaching and coaching.

While attending high school, Christian achieved many local school track and field records under his dad and track coach Shouse. He broke 14 indoor and outdoor track records, some of which include 110m (10.86), 200m (22.04), 400m (49.92), 110 hurdle (15.31) long jump (22.6.25), decathlon (6,914 points) and took second place his junior and senior year in the decathlon at TSSAA State Championships held at Austin Peay State University.
