AURORA – The Lady Lion junior varsity track team competed in the reserve EIAC meet at South Dearborn.
For the field events, Annie Hadley cleared a height of 6-6 in the pole vault to place sixth. Storey and Johnson jumped 5-4. Zennia Grimme threw a shot put with a personal best distance of 22-10. Hadley threw the shot put with a personal best distance of 24-1.
Leah Kemple threw a personal best in the shot put with a distance of 30-1 to take sixth. Jocelyn Geise threw a shot put a distance of 26-10 to place eighth. In discus, Geise took first throwing a distance of 85-10 and Patience Johnson threw a personal best of 65-9.
In long jump, Romero jumped a distance of 12-3 to take fifth place. Grimme and Johnson jumped distances of 11-3 and 8-11.
The 4x100m relay team of Heather Stanley, Lexi Morris, Ale Romero, and Macenzie Cochran ran a time of 59.57 to take fourth place.
In the 3200, Kaitlyn Shook, and Josie Corum ran 15:23 and 16:28, taking second and fifth in the event.
In the 1600, Corum and S. Stanley ran 7:10 and 6:59. Kaitlyn Shook placed eighth running a time of 6:54.
In the 800, S. Stanley placed fourth running a time of 2:59.
In the 400, S. Stanley finished third in 1:12 and H. Stanley was eighth in 1:17.
In the 200, Morris had a time of 32.60, and Cochran finished in 32.82. In the 100, Romero ran a 14.72, Morris ran a 14.94, Stanley a 15.11, and Storey ran a 16.47.
In the 300 hurdles, Auna Emanis finished sixth in 1:08 and sixth in the 100 hurdles in 23.58.
