The Rushville wrestling team traveled to Shenandoah on Tuesday to make-up a postponed meet. The Lions lost the meet 39-31.

At the 145 pound weight class, Eric Cox won his match against Devan Bernard 6-3. Bert Morgan lost by fall to Jared Hayes at the 145 pound class. At the 152 pound weight class, Mark Knepp won by fall against Jake Payne.

In the 160 pound weight class Brock Carfield won by fall against Anthony Thompson, while at the 171 pound weight class, Robert Beeler won by major decision against Cory Webber.

At 189, Aaron Ryse lost by fall to Chase Wahley. Chance Landreth lost by fall to Taylor Warner at the 215 pound weight class. At the 275 pound weight class, Kaleb Plummer lost by fall to Sam Poole.

Cody Stewart won his match at 103 pounds by forfeit, and Miles Downhour lost by fall to Eric Krathwohl at the 112 pound weight class. At 125 pounds, Jeff Edwards lost by decision to Isaac Sanders, while at 135 pounds, Keith Duncon won by fall against Caleb Dugger.

In reserve action, Jared Stewart and John Gasser both won their matches by fall.

The Lion grapplers are next in action Wednesday, Dec. 7, when they travel to Knightstown. The matches will start at 6:30 p.m.
