The 2019 summer Riverside Park Amphitheater concert series will continue Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. with Indianapolis based Isaac Rudd & the Revolvers taking the stage. The six-piece band plays a variety of county and rock and roll and is fronted by lead singer Isaac Rudd. Rudd traces his roots to Kirklin as small farming community near Fort Wayne and plays what he terms rock country music.
Headlining the evening’s entertainment is the Nashville based Sweet Tea Trio. Originally from Alabama, Savannah Coker, Kate Falcon and Victoria Camp formed in 2013 and a short time later were discovered by Kid Rock. Since that time, the trio has been the opening act not only for Kid Rock, but other major recording artist as well.
The country group will take the stage shortly after 8 p.m. and their self-titled EP debuted on iTunes country charts reaching number 11 earlier this summer. Sweet Tea Trio contributed two original songs to the six song effort, with their self-penned, “Huntin’ Is Good” moving rapidly up the music charts.
Great weather is expected to be on hand for the evening’s free entertainment and a number of vendors will be on hand during the show. Plan to arrive early and stay late for a good evening of free music.
