ZOSO the Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience will perform Monday (Labor Day) with opening act The Henthorn LLC at the Riverside Park Amphitheater.
The concert was originally scheduled for mid-June, however a severe weather event that passed through Rush and surrounding counties forced the event to be rescheduled.
The Henthorn LLC, fronted by founder Doug Henthorn will take to the stage at 7 p.m. and play what Henthorn terms Alternative Blues. Henthorn is no stranger to the music industry having shared his talents and played with a number of major recording artist’s including John Hiatt, Jason Bonham and Joe Bonamassa to name a few.
ZoSo formed in 1995 and will take the stage shortly after 8 p.m. and are expected to rock well into the night. Paying homage to English super-group Led Zeppelin, band members have been playing together for nearly 20 years and strive to do more than simply playing music of a prior generation. Each band member strives to provide the ultimate Zeppelin experience. ZoSo has been the featured act at a number of festivals and events.
The concert will also serve as a fundraising event for More For Kids, a local mentoring group for area youth.
Concert goers are expected to arrive early with their lawn chairs or blanket and the extended weather is for near perfect weather for an evening of music.
