Rushville FFA Alumni reestablishes

The Rushville FFA Alumni is reestablishing at Rushville Consolidated High School.

The purpose of the group’s reestablishment is to support Rushville FFA and provide financial support for its activities.

“We are trying to bring back the school’s FFA alumni chapter,” Rushville FFA Alumni Raegan Smith said. “The chapter was well established in the 80s and 90s. We are accepting memberships right now and taking donations to get the chapter back on its feet.”

Annual alumni dues are $15 a person or $25 for a couple or family. All proceeds from dues go toward activities of the Rushville FFA Chapter.

Specifically, the monies will be used to buy FFA jackets ($75 per person), FFA cords for graduates, leadership camps ($75 per person), the Top 25 Trip ($100 per person), college scholarships ($250 per award) and the Washington Leadership Camp ($300 per person).
