Rush County Victims Assistance (RCVA) will host its fourth annual 5K Walk/Run this Saturday at Benjamin Rush Middle School (1601 N. Sexton St.).
The event is an opportunity for the community to join in the race to end domestic violence.
Registration for the 5K will start at 7:30 a.m. The event will begin at 8 a.m.
The cost for the event is $10 per participant. Participants can choose to compete on either the cross-country course or the track.
Ribbons will be awarded to first and second place winners in both adult and youth categories.

Drinks and refreshments will be offered during the race.
For more than 18 years, the RCVA/Phoenix House has helped victims of abuse rebuild their lives and gain self-reliance by providing services including safe crisis shelter, mental health counseling, education, parenting and job related services. The RCVA does this with compassion and a strong belief there is hope and an opportunity for healing.
