MEDC to host 12th Annual Golf Outing

The Milroy Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) will host its 12th Annual Golf Outing on Saturday, June 15, at Antler Pointe Golf Club (3510 N. 150 E.) in Rushville.

“Excitement is high as we get ready to host the 12th annual MEDC Golf Outing,” MEDC President Rob Jackman said. “Our golf outing chairperson Michelle Herbert has us well organized. That and the addition of some new members to our MEDC board with new ideas and additional golfers should allow us to have another successful event.”

Check in for the outing will begin at 8 a.m. A shotgun start will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m.

Lunch will be held at 12:30 p.m. A lunch only ticket may be purchased for $15.

Registration forms are available to participate in or sponsor the event, which must be submitted to the MEDC before Monday, June 10.

The cost of the event is $60 per player or $220 per team. This includes green fees, cart rental and a meal.

Those who are interested can sponsor the event for $450. This includes payment for a team of four, hole sponsorship and special recognition.

Hole sponsorship opportunities are available for $100. All sponsors must also fill out a registration form.

Mulligans can be purchased during the outing, three for $10.

Prizes include $220 to the first place team and $110 to the second place team. A hole-in-one prize vehicle will be provided by Hubler Ford Lincoln Mercury.

Proceeds from the event will benefit future and existing businesses and in Milroy. A portion of proceeds will be used to improve street lighting in downtown Milroy.

All donations are tax deductible. The MEDC is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
