Several weeks ago there was an announcement made that a new agricultural business was coming to Rush County. This would also be a first of its kind business in the United States.
This new company, CORMO USA Inc., will be building a facility in the industrial park North of Rushville that will process corn stalks into two primary products and possibly some by-products. This could provide some opportunities to not only sell corn stalks but to provide other services such as harvesting stalks, storage, hauling and distributing by-products.
In order to get the correct information out to everyone in the community, we are having a meeting at the Root Building on the Rush County Fairgrounds on July 17. The meeting will start at 7:00 and is open to the world.
If you have any interest in learning more about the new company and its opportunities, I encourage you to attend and tell your friends and neighbors to come.
