The Walker Ribbon Winners met at 7 p.m. June 6 at the Walker Township Conservation Club. The meeting was called to order by president Laura Liggett. Secretary Elizabeth Wagner read the minutes and the treasurer’s report was given by Kim Hoeing.

The American pledge was led by Rachael Alexander and 4-H pledge by Carrie Alexander. Thirteen members answered roll call with favorite things about the fair. Six guests attended.

Demonstrations were given by Jordan Hoeing, Baseball History; Mitchell Wagoner, Models; Matthew Wagoner, Types of leaves; Rachael Alexander, Photography; Carrie Alexander, Cake Decorating.

Some members brought projects to be prejudged. Connie Meyer graciously checked the exhibits. Labels for fair exhibits and permanent record sheets were handed out. Judging times and dates were announced. Mitchell Wagoner led the group in a game called “Elephant.” Refreshments were provided by Rachael and Carrie Alexander.
