NASHVILLE – Avoid the winter blues! Get moving and have some fun at the inaugural Frosty Trails Festival on January 18. This unique winter wellness experience will have you running, sledding, drinking, and more in the hardwood forest of Hard Truth Hills.

This full-day fest is sure to cure your cabin fever as you soak in Brown County’s beautiful winter landscape. From 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Hard Truth Hills will transform into a mecca of frosty outdoor fun and will offer a variety of activities to enjoy.

The Frosty Trails Festival will feature two runs. Those looking for an adventure can take on the rugged trails that wind their way through Hard Truth Hills’ wooded 325-acres. The fest’s extreme 5K Frost & Fortitude Trail Run, slated for 11 a.m., is not for the faint of heart. The reward? Stunning scenery and a toasty post-race cocktail!

The day’s other race is a little more light-hearted and all about having a good time. Dress like a pirate (or a winter runner) and take three laps around the Hard Truth Hills pond during the Pirate Rum Run at 1 p.m.! Throw back some Hard Truth Distilling Co. Toasted Coconut Rum as you make the rounds. This fun run is for those 21 years old and over.

The Frosty Trails Festival also will feature heated yoga on the Hill’s Back 40, sledding, a Mindfulness & Mixology Apothecary’s Tent, sports and wellness vendors, live music, food, drinks, and more. Back 40 activities and vendors will be ongoing throughout the duration of the fest.

Two ticket packages are available for the day. The Frost & Fortitude Package is $35 and includes registration for the 5K trail run, a runner’s swag bag, festival grounds entry and activities, festival door prize entry, meal voucher, and drink voucher for select warm mocktails and cocktails. This package is available for those 16 years and older.

The Frosty Fun Package is $15 and includes festival grounds entry and activities, as well as festival door prize entry. With either package, those 21 and older also can register for the Pirate Rum Run for an additional $10. Entry to the festival for children ages 12 and under is free.

Don’t let winter get you down. Have some frosty fun instead! Spend your winter in the woods and experience Brown County’s first festival of the year.
