The Posey Pride 4-H Club met on Feb. 2, 2020, at the Posey Township Fire Department. President Joleigh Geise called the meeting to order.

Twenty-one members were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Emmalyn McCallister and the 4-H Pledge was led by Jorgia Geise.

Treasurer Gabby Pavey reported that the club currently has $660.49 in their bank account.

Old business involved returning Green Books and completion pins as well as handing out project books for this year.

New business included discussing possible service projects for the club to participate in this year. The junior leaders who were present also gave updates on changes that will be made to the food stand for this year’s fair.

Demonstrations were given by the following members: Joleigh Geise (Consumer Clothing), Addy Horn (Vet Science: What’s Wrong With My Goat?), Audrey Waits (Vet Science: Veterinarian’s Tools of the Trade), and Jorgia Geise (Latch-Hook Craft).

The group ended the meeting by playing a Valentine’s themed candy dice game.

The next meeting will be held at 4 p.m. March 1.
