The Friends Too Homemakers Club met Feb. 19 for a noon luncheon, meeting and social time at the Takathemoke in Milroy.
After a delicious lunch, the homemakers proceeded with the pledge to the flag and Homemakers Creed led by vice-president Jean Chandler. Kay Hineman read the inspirational thought from: “God Sized Love – Matthew 5:43-48.”
Secretary Dorothy Mahan called roll and read the secretary’s report. Treasurer Ruth Kessler gave the report. The club will make a heartfelt donation to the Rushville Animal Shelter. President Diane Paris proceeded with various reports and gave a lesson, “Discussing Finances with Aging Parents,” which was most informative.
The next gathering is Wednesday, March 18 for a noon luncheon and meeting at the Takathemoke. Anyone is welcome.
