l Kick-off meeting for the Rush County Small Steps to Health & Wealth™ Challenge, 10 a.m. in the Kenneth L. Earnest Family Conference Center at Rush Memorial Hospital. Participants will learn more about this fun way to improve their lives by taking small steps to reach larger goals. Basic weight and health assessments will be completed so that progress can be measured over the six-week challenge. There will also be a special prize drawing. l Rush County 4-H enrollment for the 2013 fair season is underway. Youth in grades 3 through 12 who are interested in enrolling in 4-H may contact the Rush County Extension Office, located on the first floor of the courthouse, for an enrollment form or enroll on-line at www.ces.purdue.edu/Rush. To receive an enrollment form via mail, call 932-5974. On-time enrollment ends Jan. 15. Youth in grades K – 2 who are interested in enrolling in 4-H Cloverbuds may also do so at this time.
