l RCHS Band Camp runs through 27.

THURSDAY (7/26)

l Rush County Players presents The Best of Broadway at 7:30 p.m. July 26, 27 and 28 and at 2:30 p.m. July 28 and 29 at the Rush County Courthouse. Information: 765-938-1711.

l  WorkOne Eastern Indiana will host the ÒHire a Hoosier HeroÓ Recruitment & Job Fair for Veterans from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Castle High School Field House. This is a free event. Pre-registration is not required.

SUNDAY (7/29)

l Raymond Gipson Day free admission to Waggener Community Pool open 1 to 6 p.m.

l Rush County 4-H Day at Stagg's Dairy Treats. A percentage of sales will be donated to the Rush County 4-H club program. Please stop by and help support Rush County 4-H!

MONDAY (7/30)

l Auditions for Rush County Player's "The Little Rushcals"from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 30 and 31 at the Rush County 4-H Horse Park, behind the Rush County Highway Department, 1352 E. State Road 44, Rushville. Those auditioning are asked to bring a list of possible conflicts to auditions. Also, parents are asked to stay on-site as their child auditions. Shows are: Sept. 14, 15, and 16. If necessary, rain dates are the following weekend, Sept. 21-23, with all performances at the Gazebo in South Veterans Memorial Park.

l RCHS Freshman orientation is 7 p.m. Aug. 1.

THURSDAY (8/2)

l Pioneer Engineers Club 64th Annual Reunion, Aug. 2-5, Caldwell Pioneer Acres, 3 miles south of Rushville just off Hwy. 3. Price $5 for all four days. Children under 12 enter free. Expecting 25 plus large steam engines, 300 plus tractors, large variety of gas engines, 100 plus flea markets vendors, entertainment and food. Church services 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. l Manilla Fire Station Fish Fry from 4 to 9 p.m. Aug. 10. Come and enjoy a great meal.  Unstable Faultline Country Band plays 7 to 9 p.m., Giving away a whole hog and have of angus beef with processing included.
