•Knights of Columbus will host an all you can eat chicken dinner open to the public Saturday, May 24 from 5-7:30 p.m. at 227 E 3rd Street. Cost will be $10 for adults and $6 for children. An additional $1 will be charged for a meal with all white meat. All you can eat meals are restricted to dine in only. Carry out will be available. • The 30th annual Mays Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, May 24, at the Mays Elementary School gym. Registration will begin at 4 p.m. with group pictures taken at 5:30 p.m. The meal will be at 6:30 p.m. All graduates, former teachers and friends are cordially invited to attend. • St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will hold its final 8:30 a.m. New Beginnings and 10:40 a.m. traditional services before summer on May 25. From June 1 through Aug. 31, St. Paul’s will hold a single Sunday service at 10 a.m., blending elements of both the New Beginnings and traditional services.
• The Manna Mission will be serving pizza and salad from 5 to 7 p.m. May 27. We offer a free meal for those that may be in need. Please come enjoy a hot meal along with fellowship for eat-ins or carry-outs. Thanks to the ladies of Raleigh Christian Church for donating the desserts this month.
