APRIL

SATURDAY (4/19)

• At 10 a.m., Saturday, April 19, Miller’s Merry Manor will be having an Easter Egg Hunt. For $5, kids can come have breakfast with the Easter bunny (photo opportunities will be available, so bring your camera), Easter crafts, and an egg hunt. Come on out for a morning of fun at Miller’s Merry Manor. All proceeds benefit the bird aviary fund.

• The First Church of God,1200 W. US Hwy 52, Rushville, will host an Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. for children up to 11years old.

• Faith Community Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 1-12 from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at the Manilla Lions Club. Prize awarded in four age groups. Enjoy crafts, story time and refreshments. For more information, contact Lisa Ward at 765-561-4069.

• Kyle Henderson day at Stagg’s Restaurant and Dairy Treats will be Saturday, April 19, 2014. A portion of the sales from that day will be contributed to the Kyle Henderson Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Rush County Community Foundation. This scholarship is awarded to students attending post-secondary school, accredited trade or vocational school and have been involved in 4-H and/or FFA. Please join Kyle’s family and friends and have a great meal or dairy treat.

SUNDAY (4/20)

• There will be an all you can eat Easter Breakfast Buffet Sunday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 223 E 3rd St. Cost for drink and buffet will be $9.95.

MONDAY (4/21)

• The Rushville Eagles #2036 Ladies Auxiliary will be having nominations for officers at 7 p.m. on April 21. Members please come and show your support.

WEDNESDAY (4/23)

• Buck Creek Veterinary Clinic would like to welcome everyone to celebrate the retirement of Carmen Brooks at an Open House from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 at the office. Stop in and help us celebrate Carmen’s almost 20 years of veterinary service.
