SATURDAY (6/22)

l Rush County Fair, June 22-29.

l Briar Patch Players summer theater program present their annual show about life in Rush County at the Laughlin Center for the Performing Art, RCHS Campus. Showtimes at 5 and 7 p.m. June 22; 3, 5 and 7 p.m. June 23; 5 and 7 p.m. June 24. Enjoy air conditioning during the Rush County Fair.

l 92nd Leisure Family Reunion; A catered meal is being served at noon at the home of Phil Leisure, 8600 W 1100 S Fairmount, IN. Contact him at (765) 552-6005 or Anne Reddick at (765) 565-6170. l The 15th annual Jason D. Kuhn Memorial Golf Scramble at Horseshoe Bend Golf Course. Tee time 12:30 p.m. Registration at 11 a.m. Hog roast following the announcement of the tournament winners. l Class of ‘63 reunion is scheduled for June 22, the same day as the RHS/RCHS Annual Reunion. The schedule, however, has been arranged so that members of the Class of 1963 can attend both events. The ’63 Reunion will be held in the 201 Building in Rushville. Info: 932-4118.

l The second ever all Manilla School get together will be held at the Manilla Fire Station. The event will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch being served at 1 p.m. Please bring a desert to share. The all Manilla Get Together is open to any and all former students, teachers, employees and anyone who may have lived in or around Manilla or Homer. l Raleigh Community Club Dance, 7:30-10:30 p.m., weekly on Saturdays. Live band. Open to all ages.

MONDAY (6/24)

l RCHS Lions and Lady Lions Summer Tennis Camp June 24-28. Boys 10:30 to noon. Girls 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the RCHS tennis courts. Grades three and up. $25. Sign up at the Rushville Republican and the Boys and Girls Club of Rush County. Tennis rackets if you do not have your own. Wear appropriate clothing and bring your drinking water.

TUESDAY (6/25)

l The Manna Mission will be holding their free monthly meal from 5 to 7 p.m. in the dining area of Main Street Christian Church, 615 Main Street, Rushville. If you know of someone that needs a hot and healthy meal, please send them our way.

THURSDAY (6/27)

l Rush County Retired Teachers Association meeting, noon, conference room at Rush Memorial Hospital. Carol Greiser, incoming state president, will be the speaker.

FRIDAY (6/28)

l Free will offering Lasagna dinner, 5-8 p.m., Ray’s Crossing Christian Union Church. Lasagna, garlic bread, salad, drink and dessert will be served.

SUNDAY (6/30)

l The Rush County Chorale will be performing its Spring/Summer concert at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Laughlin Center for the Performing Arts on the RCHS campus. The Chorale will be performing spirituals and Americana music in a few different genres. Ticket prices are $6 from any chorale member or at the door.

l The 24th annual Tree City Classics Car Show will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rebekah Park, Greensburg, rain or shine. Proceeds will benefit Ayden Billingsley, a local boy diagnosed with DNA Depletion Syndrome. The event will include dash plaques, a disc jokey, door prizes, pedal car drags and concessions. In addition to the top 50 trophies, there will also be awards for Best Bike, Best Truck, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best of Show and others.
