l The Rushville Parks Department will sponsor the Second Annual Gospel Sing beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Rushville Riverside Park Amphitheater. Organizers are in the early stages of planning. l Every other month the Masonic Lodge hosts an all you can eat pancake breakfast. The breakfast is 6:30 to 10 a.m., Sept. 8. The cost is $5. Sausage, eggs and pancakes will be served.The event is sponsored by Phoenix Lodge #62 F&AM and Martha Poe OES.

Man St. The ÒTogether We CanÓ 2-mile-walk will follow with participants walking a two-mile loop through Rushville before returning to the RMH campus. On-site health fair from 10 a.m. to noon. l Main Street Christian Church, 615 N. Main St., will be offering a FREE Hot Meal and fellowship with our friends in need on the last Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The hot meal will consist of chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, salads, desserts and drinks.
