TUESDAY (11/13)

l Partners for a Healthy Rush County will meet at 5:15 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Rush County, 1590 N. Sexton Street. This meeting of Rush County’s health coalition is open to the public. Information: Rush County Health Department at 932-3103.

l Rush County Senior Citizens Center is taking reservations for booth space for the Annual Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 5. Call 932-2935 to reserve space. Deadline Nov. 29.

WEDNESDAY (11/14)

l Noble Niters meets at 7 p.m. at the home of Dixie Meyer. Beth Barnes is Co-hostess. Lesson is preparing for winter with leader Joni Naylor. Roll call response is your favorite magazine. Inspiration by Joni Naylor.

l The Rushville Music Study Club will meet at 7 p.m. at the St Paul Methodist Church. Ms. Marsha Chamber is the program chairperson and Karen Ward is hostess. All members and associates are encouraged to attend.

l RCHS Fall Jazz Concert at 7 p.m. at the Laughlin Center for the Performing Arts on the RCHS Campus.

l Indiana Blood Center blood drives, Noon – 4 p.m., Trane Company. l Walk with the Indianapolis Hiking Club as they visit Rushville with “Get Fit on the Fitness Trail”. Meet at 3:45 p.m. in the parking lot east of Rushville Consolidated High School. This F.I.T. Walkabout is sponsored by the Fitness Initiative Team of Rush County. Information: 932-5974.

FRIDAY (11/16)

l Christmas On Main is the kick off for the holiday season by bringing Santa to town. Santa will then be in Willkie Park at Santa’s House to talk to little ones about their Christmas wishes. Parade line-up starts at 5:30 p.m, The parade at 6 p.m. and is open to all! Decorate entries with lights for all to enjoy. Merchants open late, vendors along Main Street, 3rd Street features a tent with children’s activities inside, Jazz Band performing in the Gazebo. SATURDAY (11/17)

l Indiana amateur radio/ham testing by volunteer examiners in the Rushville area. Test 9 a.m. to noon at Rushville Public Library. Test given the third Saturday of November. Fee $15. l Take a F.I.T. Walkabout to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. Meet at 1 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club, 1590 N Sexton Street. Depending upon the weather we will either walk inside or outside. This walkabout is sponsored by the Fitness Initiative Team of Rush County. Information: 932-5974.

l F.I.T. Walkabouts are exploring the available indoor walking options. On Monday, November 26, meet at Memorial Gymnasium at 11:35 a.m. Memorial Gym is available (when school is in session) Monday – Friday from 6:30 – 8:00 a.m. and during the students’ lunchtime – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:35 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. and Wednesday 11:20 – 11:50 a.m. F.I.T.
