---- — Kara Feller, of Brookville, and Travis Wooley, of Rushville were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at Verna Kopps beautiful flower garden in Batesville. The bride is the daughter of Ron and Cathy Feller of Brookville. The grooms parents are Ivan and Sharon Wooley of Rushville. The double ring ceremony was performed by Pastor Jeff Rogers. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Batesville Knights of Columbus. Floral arrangements for the ceremony were designed by DeeDee Erhart, aunt of the bride, and Collen Kopp-Nixon for the rehearsal dinner.
The matron of honor was Amy Hill, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristin Feller, sister-in-law of the bride; Julie Molyneux, cousin of the bride; Erin Lambert, Emily Fohl, Alison Keim and Whitney Gilliam, all friends of the bride. Ashlan Hill was junior bridesmaid and Alexis Feller was flower girl, both nieces of the bride.
Performing the duties of best man was Corey Norrod, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Eric Fuller, brother of the bride; Dusty Hill, brother –in law of the bride; Kurt Vogle Corey Katz, Jay Springman and Bill Hutton, all friends of the groom. Austin Hill was junior groomsman and Landon Fuller was the ring bearer, both nephews of the bride.
Kasey Lohrey of Atlanta, Ga., and Kelly Lohrey of VanNuys, Calif., were ushers, both cousins of the groom. Emily Lohrey, cousin of the groom, and Amanda Meyer, cousin of the bride, performed readings/petitions at the ceremony. Jessica Marhoefer and Jenna Dunn, both cousins of the bride, attended the guest register.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Franklin County High School, 2004 graduate of University of Indianapolis, 2009 graduate of Miami University and 2011 graduate of the University of Findlay, Ohio, with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. She currently works at Marden Company-Health Care Plus, a home health agency on Oxford, Ohio.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School, a 1998 graduate of Vincennes University and 2003 graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He currently works in Franklin County as a Indiana Conservation officer.
Following a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, the couple now resides on the grooms family farm, “Seldom Seen,” near Mt. Carmel.
