Pamela Christine Leisure and George Philip Svaranowic were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony May 9, 2010. The ocean-front wedding was held on Trade Winds Beach in Cancun, Mexico. Guests in attendance were Lorraine Edwards, mother of the bride; Alexander and Abigail Leisure, children of the bride; Courtni Svaranowic, daughter of the groom; and Cassandra Skeem, friend of the couple. The bride wore a Galina, chiffon, split-front A-line ivory gown with a pleated surplus bodice and beaded empire waist. The ivory cathedral length veil accented the sweep train of the gown. The bride carried a lovely bouquet of white lilies, soft pink roses and babies breath. The private reception was held in the ocean-front gazebo on Trade Winds Beach. The couple spent eight nights at the Gran Caribe Real on the white sandy beaches of Cancun, Mexico. Parents of the bride are Milford and Lorraine Edwards of Rushville. Parents of the groom are George and Jetta Svaranowic of Bethel Park, Pa. The bride is the Executive Director of the Rush County Chamber of Commerce. The groom is the Human Resources Manager at Copeland Corporation, a division of Emerson Climate Technologies. The couple resides in Rushville.
