RUSHVILLE — Michelle Marie Harmeyer and Garrett Bernard Granacher were united in marriage Sept. 18, 2010.

The double ring ceremony was held at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father William Turner officiating and Father John Boeglin of Jasper co-celebrating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Doris Harmeyer of Rush County. The groom is the son of Vincent and Victoria Granacher of Jasper.

The bride wore an ivory chiffon A-line gown. The gown featured an empire waist, which was accented by hand-beaded lace and ruching detail. The back of the gown included beaded lace detail from the waist to the hem and a chapel train. The bride carried a round hand-tied bouquet of white roses and lilies.

Bridesmaids wore red, knee-length dresses with a Y-neck and a pleated skirt. They carried hand-tied bouquets of lilies.

The matron of honor was Sarah Hilger, sister of the bride from Fort Wayne. Bridesmaids were Erin Rosswurm, friend of the bride from Montclair, N.J., and Kimberly Koehne, friend of the bride from Greensburg. The flower girl was Solana Mejorado, cousin of the groom.

The best man was Scott Dwyer, friend of the groom from Jasper. Groomsmen were Alan Lagree, friend of the groom from Loogootee and Kyle Wieman, friend of the groom from Elkhart. The ring bearer was Tyler Kuntz, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Jeff Harmeyer and Bill Harmeyer, brothers of the bride. Marvin Rees was organist and Carolyn Sorber was cantor. Readers were Teresa Mejorado, cousin of the groom, and Julie Lagree and Candice Weck, friends of the couple. Program attendants were Rachel and Tyler Kuntz, cousins of the bride.

The wedding reception was held at the Elks Banquet Hall. Cake servers were Emily Tyler and Megan Wagner, friends of the bride.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and a 2009 graduate of Purdue University. She is currently employed at Professional Transportation, Inc. in Evansville.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Jasper High School and a 2009 graduate of Purdue University. He is currently employed at Don Davis Aviation in Henderson, Ky. After a wedding trip to South Carolina, the couple resides in Henderson, Ky.
