Ryan J. Smith and Stetson Shells were united in marriage July 23, 2008 at the Rush County Courthouse as they were visiting Rush County to attend the wedding of the groom’s brother.

The bride is the granddaughter of Charles and Betty Shells of Weir, Miss.

The groom is the son of Terry and Brenda Smith of Rushville.

Both Ryan and Stetson Smith are combat medics in the military. They currently are serving in El Paso, Texas.
