Anna Josephine Fry and Stephen Eugene Richards were married in a double ring ceremony by Rev. Father William Turner at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville.

Organist was Cindy Powers. A string duet was provided by Kevin Richards and Amy Richards. Guitarist was Stan Richards. Vocalists were Angie Buckley and Samantha Richards.

The bride wore a white, satin ball gown adorned with beaded lace and featured a cathedral train with cut out lace appliqués. Her jewelry consisted of a tiara, pearl and diamond earrings that were a gift from the groom. A crystal and pearl necklace matched the bridal attendants’ jewelry. Her bouquet featured yellow, white and cream roses with white daisies.

Matron of honor was Melissa Marlow, Rushville, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chynna Fry, Marion, bride’s niece; Anne Zachery, Rushville, bride’s cousin; Karen Fry, Marion, bride’s sister; Teresa Campbell, Greenwood, bride’s friend. Flower girls were Bridget Fry, Rushville and Eliza Fry, Marion, bride’s nieces.

Guests were registered by Kelly Loggan, Maria Bridges and Eli Bridges.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her nephews, Ted Fry of Marion and Spencer Fry of Rushville.

Best man was Loren Richards, Rushville, father of the groom. Groom’s attendants were Kenny Richards, Berlin, Germany; Stan Richards, New Castle; Andy Richards, Indianapolis; Greg Richards, Noblesville; Ronnie Richards, Noblesville, all brothers of the groom. Ushers were A.J. Fry, Marion and Tom Fry, Rushville, bride’s brothers.

Lectors were Tara Wallace, friend of the couple and Joyce Turnquist, groom’s sister.

The reception was at the Root Building in Rushville. Servers were Christi Peach and Shelly Lamle, groom’s sisters; Jackie Griffin, Jamie Weidner and Jan Weidner, bride’s cousins.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the Elks Lodge in Rushville.

The daughter of Jane Fry of Rushville and the late Ed Fry, the bride is a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and Ball State University. She is a teacher at Rushville Elementary School.

The son of Loren and Linda Richards of Rushville and the late Josephine Richards, the groom is an RCHS graduate and attended IUPUI. He is employed by Plumber’s Supply in Indianapolis.

After a wedding trip Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Milroy.
