Wendy G. Turner and Leonard Frey were married at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16, 2008 at the University of Southern Indiana Labyrinth with Daryn West officiating.

Maid of honor was Lillian Manning. Best man was Aidan Frey.

The reception was at University of Southern Indiana Carter Hall.

The daughter of Lynn and Sharon Turner of Arlington, the bride is a 1990 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School; Valparaiso University, 1994, BSW; Ohio State University, 1995, MSW and 1998, PhD. She is a professor and director of MSW Program at the University of Southern Indiana.

The son of Elizabeth Reitz of Keenes, Ill., the bridegroom is a 1986 graduate of Wayne City, Ill. high school and 1998 graduate with a PhD from University of Illinois. He is co-owner of Frey Farms.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Evansville.
