Simona Eva Ebinger and Kevin Robert Miller were united in marriage Oct. 13, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Osgood. Presiding at the Nuptial Mass was Rev. Darvin Winters, former pastor at St. John’s and friend of the bride’s family.

Present at the ceremony were parents of the couple, Ron and Billie (White) Ebinger of Holton and Robert and Sharon (Heckman) Miller of Greensburg; grandmothers, Leola Ebinger of Holton and Evelyn Heckman of Rushville and many other relatives and friends.

Attending the bride were Elaina Peters, sister of the bride, as matron of honor; Sara (Swinney) Hildebrand, friend of the bride, as maid of honor; Suzanne Dole, friend of the bride, as a bridesmaid; Zoe Peters, niece of the bride, and Layla Ebinger, daughter of the bride, as flower girls.

Attending the groom were Mike Smothers, friend of the groom, as the best man; William Heckman-Mark, cousin of the groom, and David Wolter, friend of the couple, as groomsmen; Austin Smothers, friend of the groom, as ring bearer; Pierce Ebinger, brother of the bride, and Dennis Bischoff, friend of the couple, as ushers.

Musicians for the ceremony were Lana Miller, friend of the bride and Melinda Connall, friend of the couple; vocalists were Suzanne Dole, friend of the bride and Billie Ebinger and Sharon Miller, mothers of the bridal couple.

Votive candles were placed in the sanctuary in memory of the deceased family members, Charles Ebinger, Roland and Irene White, John and Mary Miller and Louis Heckman.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the VFW Hall in Napoleon. Zeb Hildebrand, friend of the couple, served as the D.J.

The bride graduated from South Ripley High School and the groom from North Decatur High School. They are both employed with Wendy’s in Greensburg.

Following their honeymoon in Florida, visiting Orlando and Cocoa Beach, the couple returned to their home in Osgood.
