Published April 14, 2008 11:35 am - Mary Elizabeth Keys and Michael Brady Curtis were married Jan. 26, 2008 at St. Louis University’s St. Francis Xavier College Church in St. Louis, Mo. The Catholic ceremony was performed by Fr. Thomas Santen.

Mary Elizabeth Keys and Michael Brady Curtis were married Jan. 26, 2008 at St. Louis University’s St. Francis Xavier College Church in St. Louis, Mo. The Catholic ceremony was performed by Fr. Thomas Santen.
The reception, with dinner and dancing accompanied by The Ultraviolets band, was held in downtown St. Louis at Windows on Washington. Nearly 200 guests were in attendance.
Matron of Honor was Andrea Seavey of St. Louis, bridesmaid’s sister. Bridesmaids included Juliet Scherer of St. Louis, and Christa Matukaitis, Nancy Marceau, Laura Hnatow, and Alisa Conroy from Maine. Travis Keys, bride’s brother served as a reader.
The bride chose a pearl white strapless, duchess satin gown with embroidery, crystal beading, and light café colored ribbon on a dropped waist bodice and A-line hem. Covered buttons cascaded down the back of the dress to the tip of the chapel length train. Red and white roses were the flowers of choice.
Andy Curtis of Rushville was best man. Groomsmen included Phil Solimine of Cincinnati, Ohio; Randy High of San Diego, Calif.; and Will Daly, Dan McCarthy, and Dr. Brian Zale from Chicago, Ill.. Katy Fudge, groom’s sister, served as a reader.
The bride is the daughter of Randy Keys and the late Sandy Keys, and granddaughter of the late Harry and Rosemary Teson, Ellen Punches of St. Louis, Mo., Harold Punches of St. Louis, Mo., and the late Ralph Keys. A 1992 graduate of Parkway South High School and 1996 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, the bride works in online marketing for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The groom is the son of Kim and Ann Curtis, and grandson of Martha Todd of Rushville and the late George Todd, and Dudley and Bessie Curtis of Rushville. A 1992 Rushville Consolidated High School graduate and 1996 Notre Dame graduate, he currently works in medical sales for Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a division of Johnson & Johnson, after serving eight honorable years as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
Following a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple resides and works in St. Louis, Mo.
