n Food Fad Fashion Homemakers Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday for dinner at Maccabbees at Spiceland.
n Phoenix Lodge No. 62 F.&A.M. will confer a Master Mason Degree at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
FRIDAY (7/4)
n Fourth of July parade will start at 11 a.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. Friday. The parade will travel from Riverside Park north on Morgan Street. Fireworks will be staged from an area north of Rushville Elementary School.
n Mental Health America in Rush County along with Mike, Gary and Lil Miller will be serving Dutch Boy sandwiches and hot dogs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Optimist Car Show in North Veterans Memorial Park. Come enjoy good food and the festivities.
n The Boys & Girls Club of Rush County will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day. The club will reopen Monday. The club will be closed from July 19 through 27 for cleaning and maintenance.
