n Mental Health America of Rush County will hold its monthly Lunch & Learn meeting at noon today at the Elks. Program will be presented by Dave Sliger of the Rush County Sheriff's Department on crashes in Rush County involving drugs, speed and alcohol. The public always is invited to attend.

n The board of directors of Interlocal CAP, Inc. will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Knightstown Head Start Center, 355 Washington Street in Knightstown.
FRIDAY (4/25)
n First Southern Baptist Church will sponsor a bean supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church on Airport Road. Menu will consist of beans, cornbread, coleslaw, drinks. Free-will offering, no carry-outs. Proceeds go for new sweepers for the church. Everyone is invited.
n The Boys & Girls Club of Rush County will be closed after school Friday and Saturday. If questions contact William Walker at 932-2765.
n Rush County 4-H Jr. Leaders will have their annual geranium sale from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Livestock Pavilion at the Rush County Fairgrounds. Extra geraniums in red, white, salmon and fuschia will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.
SATURDAY (4/26)
n Phoenix Lodge No. 62 F. & A.M. Master Mason degree has been postponed from Saturday to a later date to be announced.
n Benefit for Susan Lower 3 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Elks Lodge in Rushville. Bike ride noon to 5 p.m. (weather permitting). Hog roast 3 to 7 p.m. for a free-will donation. Auction 6 to 7 p.m. Karaoke 7 to 9 p.m. Dave Barnes performing. Mystic River Band 9 p.m. to midnight. Auctioneer, silent auctions, games, door prizes and more. Friends Helping Friends event.
n There will be an eScrap collection Saturday at the back garage of the Rush County Sheriff's Department at Perkins and Water streets. Bring old electronics (anything with a circuit board) from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Also, old books will be accepted for rescue and reuse. This is another Clean Green Rush Project for Rush County residents.
