Arabians win HHC golf team title

RUSHVILLE — Pendleton Heights posted a sub-300 team score to claim the Hoosier Heritage Conference golf title.

The Arabians, led by Calvin Proctor’s 72, finished with 296 to win the title.

Yorktown took second place with 321. Shelbyville was next with 334 followed by Greenfield-Central 339, Delta 350, Mt. Vernon 351, Rushville 367 and New Palestine 371.

Delta’s Seth Neal also had a 72 on the day.

The Lions were led by Nate Hoeing with a (38-42) 80 to earn conference honors in ninth place in the 40-player field.

Brayton Wood carded (53-57) 110.

Grant Houston had a 47 and personal best nine score 39 to finish at 86.

Kyle Hewitt had a (44-47) 91.

Austin Tielking finished with (59-62) 121.
