Sunday afternoons were for youth league as we had 36 bowlers do the most recent 8-for-8 bowling league. This is wonderful program that introduces bowling as a fun activity. The participants only do an eight week schedule paying only $8 per week and at leagues end receive a brand new bowling ball.
As those leagues end new ones begin. We had organizational meetings this past week for Monday - Wednesday and Thursday bowling leagues.
All three of these leagues will start the week of Aug. 26 and we have room for men and women on any of these nights. I would really like to reach out to the people who are currently not playing and ask them to make this the year they think about joining. I guarantee you have friends out here at Rushville Bowl on one of those nights enjoying a fun, social, and competitive evening with friends. It’s hard to think about it now but the sun is going down at 5:30 in October so call Rushville Bowl to inquire about joining.
Tuesday ladies Recreational league will have organizational meeting at 7 p.m., Aug. 27 here at Rushville Bowl. Other leagues and proposed organizational meetings are Coffee Bowl at 9 a.m. Sept. 4, Sunday NASCAR at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 and Mon Trio Monday at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 9.
See you next week!!!
