BRMS golf

The BRMS golf team defeated Doe Creek by the final of 214-218 to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Cole Carmony was medalist on the night with a 44. Lance Beard was next with 51 followed by Tyce Nicholls 57, Nick Komlanc 62, Hunter Jones 63, Florian Boyer 64, Andrew Gwinnup 64, Ethan Zeisloft 65, Roseanna Lawson 66, Madyson Carmony 67 and Kenny Higgins with a 71.

The Cubs then defeated Richmond Test 200-225. Carmony was medalist with 37. Nicholls was next with 50 followed by Lance Beard 55, Nick Komlanc 58, Hunter Jones 58, and Carter Payne 67. This takes the team record to 5-1.

RCHS football news

Parents sign your son up for the RCHS Youth Football camp through www.rushvillefootball.com . The website is fast, easy and convenient for parents. The Youth Football camp link is found on the main page of the football website. Click on the picture to begin the sign up process.

The youth football camp takes place the last week of school May 19-22 from 4 to 5 p.m. The camp cost is $20 and payable through the website or in person the week of the camp.

If parents wish not to use the website, please email mcmurrays@rushville.k12.in.us or call Coach McMurray at the high school at 765-932-3901. The coach will need name of player, contact information, grade, and shirt size.

Bynum to miss rest of playoffs for Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Pacers made it official Wednesday: Andrew Bynum’s season is over.

About seven hours before facing Washington in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, team officials said the oft-injured Bynum would miss the rest of the playoffs and would not even be with the team for the rest of the postseason. Indiana lost Game 1 on Monday in the best-of-seven series.
