Lions cruise to wins at Waldron

WALDRON – The Lion track team cruised to the team title in the tri-meet with Waldron and Hauser.

Rushville tallied 87 team points to take first place. Hauser was second with 34 and Waldron was third with 30.

The Lions had three personal bests established in the meet.

Luke Schombert set a personal best 12:14 to take third place in the 3200. Kenny Nigh was second in the event at 11:30 and Evan Dyer was fourth at 12:36.

Josh Clines set a personal best 111-8 to take fourth in the discus. Nick Hutchinson was second in the event at 118-9.

Ike Sheehan ran a personal best :46.00 in the 300 hurdles. Zach Turner won the race in :43.26 and Jeremy Hallgarth was second in :45.64.
