Lady Lions fall to Lady Dragons on track

NEW PALESTINE – The Lady Lions traveled to New Palestine to face the Lady Dragons on the track. The host squad posted the 83-45 victory, but it was a solid night for several of the Lady Lions as nine personal bests were posted.

Ellie Sammons had a personal best 33-10.5 to win the shot put and a personal best 108-4.5 to win the discus. Taylor Stevens also has personal bests in the shot put and the discus (second at 75-9).

The 3200 meter relay team of Kayla Fogg, Monica Dougherty, Arielle Ordas and Brandi Adkins set a best time of 11:12 in taking first place.

Taylor Yager set a personal best time of 1:08 to take third in the 400.

Aubrey Stomberg finished third in the 300 hurdles with a personal best :54.00.

Emma Beavers ran a personal best :29.25 for second in the 200 and Fogg finished first in the 3200 meter run with a personal best 13:11.
