Gymnasts post victory over Lincoln

RUSHVILLE — The Lady Lion gymnastics team picked up its first victory of the season Wednesday. Rushville finished with a team total of 92.75 to knock off visiting Cambridge City Lincoln with 87.675.

Kylee Elleman won the all-around with a 32.425. Elleman placed first on the vault with 8.35, first on bars with 8.275, first on beam with 7.975 and third on floor with 7.825.

Mariah Fenimore was third in the all-around with 30.225. She was second on the vault with 8.3, third on bars with 7.2 and first on floor with 8.175.

Destiny Scott took fourth in the all-around with 29.625. Scott took fifth on vault with 7.85, fifth on bars with 6.8, second on beam with 7.65 and fifth on floor with 7.325.

Also placing for the Lady Lions was Marisa Hall, fourth on the floor with 7.45.



Hagerstown tops visiting Lady Lions

HAGERSTOWN - The Lady Lion gymnastics team fell to a solid Lady Tiger squad Tuesday. Hagerstown finished with a team total of 100.825. Rushville improved its best score of the year by 1.45 to finish at 93.425.

Placing for the Lady Lions on the vault included Mariah Fenimore fourth with 8.4, Kylee Elleman fifth with 8.3 and Destiny Scott sixth with 8.3.

On the bars, Elleman was first with 8.475 and Scott was fifth with 6.925.

Elleman finished third on the beam with 8.45 and Scott was sixth with 7.35.

On the floor, Elleman was fourth with 8.35 followed by Fenimore sixth with 7.925.

Elleman also took second in the all-around with 33.575.
