---- — BROOKVILLE – Brook Hill golf course hosted the EIAC golf tournament Saturday. Favorite Connersville did not have the best day on the links, but the Lady Spartans were able to claim the conference championship with a 350 total.
Batesville was just 11 strokes back with 361 to take second place honors.
Rushville and East Central both finished with 392. The Lady Lions won the tie-breaker for third based on the fifth player score.
Greensburg was fifth with 397 followed by South Dearborn 409, Franklin County 410 and Lawrenceburg 460.
Batesville’s Madison McCreary earned top individual honors on the day by carding (36-37) 73.
Rushville was led by Catie Liggett. She finished with (39-45) 84 to take third overall and earn All-EIAC honors.
Abbey Gulde was 13th overall with (46-53) 99.
Whitley Disbro finished 15th with (47-54) 101.
Kylie Martindale had (51-57) 108 and Megyn Kirchoff had (56-58) 114.
