IBCA/Subway girls all-state honors
Fifteen seniors and 15 underclass girls basketball players have earned IBCA/Subway first-team All-State honors for 2013-14, it was announced Wednesday (March 12).
Also, 120 additional players were selected as honorable mention IBCA/Subway Senior All-State and 120 additional juniors, sophomores and freshmen were recognized as honorable mention IBCA/Subway Underclass All-State in a process organized by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association and presented by Subway Restaurants of Indiana.
Rushville’s Keragan Niehoff and Mackenzie Campbell were a part of the 120 seniors selected as honorable mention.

Winter awards program
RCHS will hold the winter sports awards program at 7 p.m. Monday in the high school cafeteria.
BRMS girls basketball
The seventh-grade Lady Cubs Black defeated Greensburg 35-32 to win the 4-team tourney title and complete the season at 14-2.
Taylor Browning led the Lady Cubs with 16 points followed by Allie Smith 10, Karley Yager six and Marissa Sullivan three.
Wake Forest beats Notre Dame 81-69 at ACC tourney
GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Coron Williams scored a season-high 25 points and Wake Forest beat Notre Dame 81-69 on Wednesday in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.
Devin Thomas added 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Williams hit four 3-pointers for the 12th-seeded Demon Deacons (17-15).
They shot a season-best 61 percent, built a 33-23 rebounding advantage and earned their first ACC tournament win since 2007 — when the late Skip Prosser was their coach.
Wake Forest will play fifth-seeded Pittsburgh (23-8) on Thursday in the second round.
