Lady Lion gymnasts triumph at tri-meet

---- — CAMBRIDGE CITY – The Lady Lions traveled to Cambridge City Lincoln Wednesday for a tri-meet with the host squad and Anderson.

Rushville returned with the team title by scoring 76.375. Lincoln was second with 70.250 and Anderson was third with 62.225.

Senior Jessica Wilson, competing in the all-around for the first time, finished fifth overall. She placed eighth on the vault, sixth on the bars, fourth on the beam and sixth on the floor with a personal best 6.575.

Sophomore Kaitlin Chandler was fifth on the vault with a personal best 7.85, sixth on the beam with a personal best 5.3 and fourth on the floor with a personal best 7.05.

Freshman Caitlin Morris was second on the vault with a personal best 6.2, second on the bars with a personal best 6.85, fifth on the beam and fifth on the floor with a personal best 7.00. Morris was also fourth in the all-around with a personal best 27.650.

Freshman Alyssa Boles finished fifth on the bars with a personal best score, 12th on the beam and seventh on the floor with a personal best score.

Freshman Adrianna Zepeda finished ninth on the beam and eighth on the floor.
