In a make-up match Saturday, the Lady Lions played host to No. 19 Franklin in girls tennis action.

The Lady Grizzly Cubs lived up to their ranking in knocking off the Lady Lions 5-0.

Lauren Arnold was pushed to three sets by Rushville’s Bek Heuer at No. 1 singles, but Arnold prevailed 6-2, 7-5, 6-1.

At No. 2 singles, Chelsea Hook defeated Sarah Smith 6-1, 6-1.

At No. 3 singles, Megan Graves topped Alexa Bess 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles action, the No. 1 duo of Allison Harpring and Abby Harcourt fell 6-0, 6-1 to Christy Tucker and Madeleine Clark.

At No. 2 doubles, the Lady Lion team of Paige Froman and Ashley Hedrick was defeated 6-3, 6-2 by Lauren Wilson and Chelsea Bujarski.

Rushville (6-9) returns to action at 4:30 p.m. today at HHC foe Shelbyville.
