RUSHVILLE — The Milroy High School Class of 1962 recently held their 50th Reunion at The 201 Building on Main Street in Rushville. Twenty-four classmates and twenty guests attended the event on Aug. 18.

The evening began at 4 p.m. with a reception featuring memorabilia placed around the room and a continuous slide presentation produced by classmate Larry Stout. Stout organized a power point presentation of various pictures of school experiences featuring class members from Milroy and Moscow. Memorabilia was loaned from the Milroy High School display at the old high school building as well as contributions from members of the class.

Dinner was served at 6:30 p.m., featuring prime rib and grilled chicken from the Park Restaurant at Mays.

At 7:30 p.m., the program began with Phil Bacon, class president, recognizing five classmates who have died: Lester Stiers, David Alford, Billy Joe Woods, Mark Priest, and Jane (Cloud) Smith. Attending the reunion was Susan Woods, widow of Billy Joe, and their two sons, Matt and Scott.
