Local residents graduate from University of Evansville

RUSHVILLE — The University of Evansville is proud to announce that multiple local students graduated during UE’s 155th Commencement, held Saturday, May 4 at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville.

During the ceremony, the University awarded 595 degrees to 579 graduates – the largest graduating class in over a decade.

Area graduates are:

Mindy Koors of Greensburg, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Marketing and Finance

Dillon Powers of Shelbyville, Bachelor of Science, major in Criminal Justice

“For more than 150 years, the University of Evansville has provided life-transforming educational experiences, preparing students for lives of personal and professional service and leadership,” said UE President Thomas A. Kazee. “At Commencement, we’re delighted to celebrate the success of these local students, and we look forward to watching the Class of 2013 accomplish amazing things as they make an impact on their communities and their world.”
