Milroy All Pro Dad's to meet

Rushville Republican

---- — Team up with other Milroy Elementary dads and kids for a before school breakfast and brief program. The Milroy All Pro Dad’s will meet from 7:15 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15. You will want to enter through door #13 at the Milroy Cafeteria.

All Pro Dads was the idea of former Colts Coach Tony Dungy. This is just a great way to connect with our kids in a positive way, say organizers. This school-based program brings dads together with their kids at their child’s school. Dads gather monthly with their children and other dads to discuss topics relevant to school-age children and to take part in other activities. All Pro Dads is excited to be partnering with the National PTA to put All Pro Dad’s Days chapters in more than 1,000 schools nationwide.

The All Pro Dads program has the backing and support of several current and former NFL players. All Pro Dad’s 53 NFL spokesmen are a group of coaches, players and alumni dedicated to their families and proud to be advocates for fatherhood. Tony Dungy, Mike Tomlin and many other men exemplify passion, discipline, work ethic, commitment and loyalty both on and off the field and in their homes. Jim Sorji (former Colts Quarterback) said it best when he remembered, “Coach Dungy taught me a lot over the years, but the most important lesson was that being a father is my most important responsibility.”
