Under Tincher’s leadership the Richmond region enrolled nearly 3,000 students this past Fall term and reported 748 higher education credentials were earned by students during the 2012-13 academic year.
“Steve has a proven track record with developing successful retention and completion programs and we will look for him to develop a model that can be replicated throughout the state to ensure increased student success in the academic areas of business and public services,” Snyder said.
Prior to joining Ivy Tech full-time, Tincher held accounting management positions in the manufacturing sector. He has been an adjunct faculty member in business/organizational leadership for several institutions and has adjunct taught management courses at the graduate level for The McGregor School and Franklin University. He earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a major in Business from Regent University, a M.A. in Accounting and a B.S. General Business Administration from Ball State University.
