Money, it’s what we need to survive, yet it’s the number one reason for divorce in this country. The lies Satan wants us to believe is it will bring more satisfaction, more significance, and more security. When we get down to it, Satan wants us to think we will never have enough money, which of course, makes for a nice subject to always argue about.

What is God’s plan for a healthy relationship with our finances?

Always keep good records. “Be sure you know the condition of your flocks; give careful attention to your herds”. Proverbs 27:23 (NLT)

Plan your spending. “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty”. Proverbs 21:5 (NLT) SAVE FOR THE FUTURE “The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.” Proverbs 21:20

Tithe back to God. “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops: then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine”.

Lastly, enjoy what you have. “Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless, like chasing after the wind.” Ecclesiastes 6:9 (NLT)
