First Baptist Church

Mission Quartet is coming!

Mark your calendars for Sunday. The First Baptist Church, located at 1431 West US Highway 52 in Rushville, is hosting the Mission Quartet at 6 p.m.

The Mission Quarter (formerly the Worley Quartet) is one of Kentucky’s premiere singing groups. They present the Gospel in an inspirational and professional manner that the whole family will enjoy. The group’s mission is to worship and honor the Lord through song and testimony, uplift and encourage their Christian brothers and sisters, and to see all come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Come and enjoy the Gospel music of Brian and Josh Worley, Michael Botts and Dale Boreing. A freewill offering will be collected to help defray the group’s expenses.

First Presbyterian Church

Have you ever had one of those moments when suddenly a thought pops into your mind out of nowhere; a thought that gives you clarity in confusion or strength in adversity? Even in the ordinary, everyday moments of life, God is here, initiating a connection with each of us, if we will notice.

This Sunday First Presbyterian Church will celebrate the Thanksgiving season through the sermon, “Grateful for the God Moments,” based on Psalm 138. Pastor Dena Vittorio will explore ways that help us make the most of these holy moments that lead us closer to God and to a healthier plan of living.
