RUSHVILLE — Faith Baptist Church in Morristown

Saturday, March 9 will be a church work day to prepare for the Easter holiday season between 9 a.m. and noon. Contact Guy Stricker, deacon, for more information.

Sunday, March 10 Dr. Wayne Scott will be teaching the Sunday school lesson at 9:30 a.m. and preaching the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. There will not be an afternoon meal or worship service due to the evening home Bible studies at various locations.

Tuesday, March 12 will be the Ladies 50+ meeting from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Carol’s Cornerstone Cafe located at 301 E. Main St., Greenfield. Contact Judy Lockett for reservations at (317) 462-5437.

Candy donations are needed for the Good News Clubs at New Palestine Elementary (Mondays) and Morristown Elementary (Wednesdays.) Contact Karen Scott for more information at (317) 861-5516.

Sunday, March 17 will be the deadline for making donations to the College Student Gift Cards ministry. Contact Marcia Fisher if you would like to contribute. Also, Sunday, March 17, at 6 p.m. the choir will perform and Dr. Wayne Scott will be preaching at the Zion Unity Missionary Baptist Church at 10th St. and Sherman Drive in Indianapolis on the topic of “Worship Music.”

Wednesday, March 20 visitation team will meet to follow-up on families that have visited the church since Christmas.

Tuesdays, March 26 and April 16 will be the next opportunity to visit the Statehouse for Family and Freedom Days sponsored by Advance America from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in the 7th floor conference room, 101 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis. This is a free event for the public to attend and a chance to speak with your Senator and Representative at the Statehouse on] issues of importance to American families. Sunday, March 31 will be the Easter Sunrise service at 8 a.m., pitch-in breakfast from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m., Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., and the Easter Cantata at 10:30 a.m. There will not be a pitch-in lunch or afternoon service.
