Plum Creek Christian Church
When we hear about Easter our minds can go in different directions. For children it’s the Easter bunny, but for the Christian it represents the true meaning, Christ shedding His blood for our sins while hanging on a cross.
This special day shows that we have confidence in Jesus. “And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.” I Cor. 15:17-20 (NLT)
We can have a new life and new purpose. “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
We can have forgiveness. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit Who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2
Finally we have hope. “Hope is enjoyment of the future in advance.”
All of these represent what we can have, and even more when we have a personal relationship with Christ. We would love for you to join us the Sunday at PCCC as we continue to learn and grow in God’s word. God Bless!

Sometimes I see people that I have met before, but do not recognize them. It is embarrassing and afterwards I often think, “I should have known who that was!”
