First Baptist Church
A number of years ago, I was driving in the state of Vermont and the car ran out of fuel. I saw it coming, but I thought, “I think I can make it a little further to the next gas station where gas will be cheaper.” Well, I was wrong. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to recognize that a car without enough fuel is not going anywhere. So, off I went, walking back to the gas station I had just passed moments before.
Your life requires certain elements to function properly. One of those elements is hope. Without hope, you have no motivation toward the future, no motivation to press on through each day. Where can you find hope? Many look for it in a relationship, in success or in money. While these things may help, they will not last forever, and you will find yourself one day looking for hope again.
Are running low on hope? There is a place you can go to find it. That is what we’ll be looking at this Sunday at First Baptist Church at 9:30a.m. Come and join us and find hope.
We are also having a brief sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Come and see what Christ’s resurrection can bring into your life.
