WNBA Champion Indiana Fever Coach Lin Dunn will be the featured speaker at Harvest Helpings, the capital fundraiser for The Blue River Community Harvest of Carthage from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Harvest building near Carthage. Harvest Helpings raises money to support the food and clothing needs of people in Carthage and rural Rush, Henry, Shelby, and Hancock county area.
Tickets are $30 per person and will include one Fever game ticket voucher. Milroy United Methodist Church Semi-Annual Rummage Sale, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 12 and 8 a.m. to noon April 13. Saturday, April 13, fill a sack for $2. This year the sale will feature the new boutique for finer name brand clothing.
Ray’s Crossing Christian Union Church
Ray’s Crossing Christian Union Church is having a free love offering breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13.
We will be offering biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, sausage patties, eggs, fried potatoes and beverages.
The money raised from this free love offering breakfast will help to buy radios to send to Africa to spread the good news.

Faith Baptist Church in Morristown
Sunday, April 7 Dr. Wayne Scott will teach Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. followed by the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. The pitch-in lunch will be held at noon with the afternoon worship service at 12:45 p.m.

Wednesday, April 10 is will be the weekly prayer and Bible study at 7 p.m.
April 14 will feature missionary Ted Tharp from Rock of Ages Prison Ministry who will make a presentation during the morning worship service. There will not be a noon pitch-in or afternoon service due to the evening home Bible study at 6 p.m. at various locations throughout the community.
April 16 will be the last opportunity to visit the Statehouse for Family and Freedom Days sponsored by Advance America from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in the 7th floor conference room, 101 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis. This is a free event for the public to attend and a chance to speak with your Senator and Representative at the Statehouse on issues of importance to American families. April 21 will be the Morristown Manor Nursing Home visit during the afternoon worship time from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
April 24 will be the next visitation opportunity at 7 p.m. Meet at the church to organize groups to visit those guests that have visited Faith Baptist Church since Christmas.
